Private In Home Training
My initial session is typically 1.5 -2 hours and begins with a brief conversation about concerns and goals you’ve highlighted on our consultation form. I like to make sure owners understand why and how certain behaviors start so we can be successful moving forward.
We cover in depth how dogs communicate and why your dog may be doing certain things that are causing issues. We discuss and practice how to let your dogs know you like what they’re doing, how to get them to stop doing something you don’t like, and how to set your dog up for long term success.
By the end of the session you’ll have an idea of how many additional sessions your dog realistically may need in order to meet your goals or which session would be appropriate for you. Some dogs benefit greatly from just one session, while others can take several more.
Ask Jordan if the following discounted packages are a good fit for you:
“From Chaos to Cooperation”
This program is designed for young dogs 6 months and older who have plenty of energy and drive but lack direction. We transform your chaotic pup to a cooperative partner who wants to work WITH you. Within 10 weeks you’ll be proud to take your dog in public and no longer be worried to have friends and family into your home.
You’ll learn how to communicate on the canine level and be the best teammate and leader for your dog. We’ll focus on getting cooperation in the face of excitement (the ability to come when called even around squirrels), leash walking manners (no more embarrassing, frustrating, or dangerous walks), and improving your dog’s overall listening skills. This package will give your dog purpose and you confidence in handling and controlling them, bringing about true peace for you both .
Upon completion of this program you’ll have a dog that understands and complies with what you’re asking without bribing them with the treat bag. The program includes video submissions for feedback and must be completed within 10 weeks from purchase.
“From Puppyhood to Partnership”
This program is designed for puppies six months or younger and focuses on raising confident, well-behaved dogs who can enjoy life with you as they grow. Through personalized one-on-one sessions, we blend play and structure to teach your puppy how to learn—and more importantly, coach you to become an effective teacher, leader, and teammate.
Your pup will learn foundational skills like sit, stay, drop it, and come when called, but the real value lies in you learning the how and why. We’ll also cover the essentials of house/potty training, crate training, and leash walking. Each session builds connection, cooperation, and trust from the start. Upon completion of the program you’ll have the tools to teach new skills, build better habits, and address any unwanted behaviors that may appear as your puppy matures.
This package is offered for select cases and may only be available during certain times of the year. The program includes video submissions for feedback, a puppy raising checklist, and must be completed within 16 weeks of purchase.
“Behavior Boot Camp”
This program is reserved for more serious issues and must be evaluated thoroughly. Owners must be able to allocate 6 weeks minimum of serious dedication and multiple meetings per week to build a foundation, troubleshoot, and tackle the problems. Owners will be required to send progress videos for feedback and guidance between sessions. This service is very limited and only available on a case to case basis.
Virtual Session
45 minutes - $75
These sessions can help break down bigger training problems or trouble shoot smaller issues you might be having with your dog. Often times owners just need pointed in the right direction. These quicker sessions are easier to schedule and can be great for knowledgable owners that want to roll up their sleeves and get to work right away.
Virtual sessions are also a great resource for troubleshooting topics like potty training or for a “pre-puppy” do’s and don’ts checklist before you bring home your new family member. Your dog does not need to be present, but I do suggest having a pen and paper ready to take notes. I will wait 5-10 minutes in case a client is running late, however the session begins and ends at the scheduled time, despite any delays and won’t be extended.
Board and Train
Length of program is 3-6 weeks and is dependent on individual dog & goals (only offered June - August)
This may be the perfect option for an owner traveling out of town or a household that is too busy to do the initial training themselves. An in-home, in-person consultation is required prior to registering, free of charge. The owner will meet halfway through the dogs stay for a hands on practice session. Owners then get a “go-home” session at the conclusion of the program where the training is transferred to the human(s). Completion of this program comes with 2 additional follow up sessions within the first 3 months of completing the program. This program helps dogs reliably:
Come when called
Perform obedience commands like sit, stay, heel, and down
Walk nicely on leash
Drop an item from their mouth
Develop games and fulfillment activities so you’ll be able to properly “tire out” your dog once they’re back home
Because a big portion of our program is off-leash, we utilize the e-collar (e-collar technologies). It is included within the price of the program. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to register for this package. The remainder of the balance is due upon drop off.
